Palm Pre 2…..Developer Device Awesomeness

Sometimes, being a developer can have it’s perks. As a part of their developer relation initiatives, Palm has been reaching out to webOS developers to help facilitate the transition of their apps over to webOS 2.0, and later on the new webOS 3.0 framework. One of the programs, involved sending developer devices out to qualified developers…..I qualified. Instead of the typical Pre+ developer device, I received a brand new Palm Pre 2……at no cost to me. After using the phone for the past couple weeks, I can truly say that this phone is a step-up from my original Sprint Pre-. The battery lasts longer, and webOS 2.0 runs much smoother on the hardware versus my webOSInternals-modded Pre-.
Using webOS2.0 on such a well-powered device is truly an experience. Once again, I just wanted to say thanks Palm.
